BACKGROUND CHECKS

 

All Texas AgriLife Extension Service positions and Texas AgriLife Research/College of Agriculture and Life Sciences positions designated as security sensitive will have both a criminal history and a sex offender record check. 

Requesting Background Checks

AT THE POINT OF HIRE, make a contingent offer to the candidate.  Any offer letter issued before the check is completed must be conditional -- contingent on successful completion of the background checks.

APPLICANTS: Complete the Background Check Disclosure Notice and Authorization Form, AG-473, and email or fax to Human Resources. 

Human Resources will conduct the background checks as indicated on the form and respond to the unit when all checks are complete.
