FAQs - Position Descriptions for Employees

1.   How do I login to GreatJobs for the first time?      

  • Go to http://greatjobs.tamu.edu/hr
  • Enter your UIN as your “username”. 
  • Enter your UIN again as your “password”.  After you are logged in, GreatJobs will prompt you to change your password to a personal password.  If you were unable to log in, you will need to create your account by following these steps:
    • Select “Create User Account.”
    • Complete all fields and “Submit for Approval.” 
  • Once Human Resources has approved your account, you will be able to login.

2.   How do I, as a new employee, create a user account?  

  • Go to http://greatjobs.tamu.edu/hr and enter your UIN as your “username”. 
  • Enter your UIN again as your “password”.  If GreatJobs allows you to log in, you already have an account set up.  After you are logged in, GreatJobs will prompt you to change your password to a personal password.  If you were unable to log in, you will need to create your account by following these steps:
    • Select “Create User Account.”
    • Complete all fields and “Submit for Approval.” 
  • Once Human Resources has approved your account, you will be able to login.

3.  I forgot my username and/or password.  How can I log in to GreatJobs?

Contact Human Resources at employment@ag.tamu.edu and we will reset your password to agree temporarily with your user name.  This will allow you to log in and then GreatJobs will require that you change your password.

4.  How do I certify (sign & date) my Position Description?

  • Log into GreatJobs at: http://greatjobs.tamu.edu/hr
  • Change user type to “Employee” (if needed).
  • Under Position Description select “Begin a New Action”.
  • Under Certify My Position Description select “Start Action”.
  • “Search” for your Position Description.
  • Select “Begin Action”.  Continue thru tabs.
  • Select “Certify My PD” and “Confirm”.
  • Automatic email is then sent to the Supervisor.
