Technical requirements for online processing
To complete the new employee processing online, you will need access to a computer with the following:
- Internet Explorer 5.5 or greater, Netscape 6.2 or greater, or Firefox 1.0 or greater. Browsers should be Java enabled and have Java scripting enabled.
- Printing capabilities
- Adobe Acrobat Reader. (If you do not have the reader, download a free copy of Acrobat Reader now by selecting the button below.)

During this process, you will need to provide the following:
- Your name (use name as shown on your Social Security card)
- Your Department/Unit name*
- Employer*
- Address (home and work)
- Phone numbers (home and work)
- UIN*
- Social Security number
- Date of birth
- Employee classification (Budgeted, Graduate Assistant, or Wage Employee)
- Unit ADLOC*
- E-mail address
* You will find this information on the New Employee Worksheet and the UIN Manager printout and/or the New Employee Enrollment System pages provided by your unit contact.
