2.01 Units will follow the guidelines in the “Recruiting and Selection Guide for Hiring Managers and Supervisors” when filling all vacancies
2.02 In addition, for faculty positions, Identify the prospective search committee, complete an AG-475, Search Committee Form, and complete an AG-476, Recruiting Plan.
2.03 Requests to bypass recruiting steps must be submitted, in writing, to the Assistant Director for Human Resources for consideration and approval
2.04 The Texas A&M Agrilife (AgriLife) Human Resources Office is responsible for reviewing hiring decisions of units to ensure that they are made in accordance with this procedure and that throughout the decision no disparate impact is made upon any protected group.
